The stops
- 01 Place des Victoires
Place des Victoires was laid out in the late seventeenth century as a circular stage for royal glory, and its very name set a precedent that Napoleon later embraced when he filled Paris with monuments to military success.
- 02 Bourse de Commerce - Pinault Collection
A circular former grain exchange that illustrates the state-driven economic and architectural ambitions of Paris. Its monumental form helps connect the tour's imperial urban planning story to later civic reuse.

Under Napoleon, the museum became a monument of imperial appropriation and pedagogy, presenting conquered art within a state frame that linked culture to power.
