The Old Synagogue is a nineteenth-century building in Canterbury's historic centre, designed by Hezekiah Marshall and later reused after its closure as a synagogue.
- 03 The King's School, Canterbury
The King's School, Canterbury is an independent school within the cathedral precincts whose origins lie in the medieval cathedral school and a refoundation by Henry the Eighth in 1541.
- 04 The Beaney House of Art and Knowledge
The Beaney House of Art and Knowledge is Canterbury's civic museum, library, and gallery building on High Street, opened in 1899.

St Thomas of Canterbury Church is a Roman Catholic Gothic Revival church built in 1874 to 1875 on Burgate, incorporating the surviving medieval tower of Saint Mary Magdalen.

Burgate is a historic street and former eastern gate approach leading toward Canterbury Cathedral and the route to Saint Augustine's Abbey.

Saint Augustine's Abbey is the ruined site of a Benedictine monastery founded in 598 just outside Canterbury's Roman walls and now part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
