From the Massachusetts State House and Old West Church to Faneuil Hall, the route shows how architecture and civic spaces shaped debate, authority, and protest. It also connects John Hancock Residence and the Arrival of the Frigate Arbella back to the founding migration that set Boston’s story in motion.

Beacon Hill landmark and seat of state government; a defining monument of Boston civic architecture and republican authority overlooking the historic Common.
- 02 Old West Church (Boston)
The Old West Church is a historic United Methodist Church at 131 Cambridge Street in the West End of Boston, Massachusetts. It was built in 1806 to designs by architect Asher Benjamin, and is considered one of his finest works.
- 03 Faneuil Hall
Iconic marketplace and meeting hall where civic debate, revolutionary organizing, and Boston’s mercantile public life converged.
